Zhihui Tang, DDS, PhD
Dr. Tang received her Bachelor's degree in Oral Science from Beiijing Medical University School of Stomatology in 1997. With her academic excellence, she continued her study in this prestigious dental school to gain advanced dental training in Orthodontics. In 2000, she successfully completed both clinical and dissertation requirements and achieved her Master's degree in Oral Science, specialty in Orthodontics. With a strong interest in dental research and technology innovation, Dr. Tang pursued the study of dental research at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she received her PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology in 2004. Dr. Tang then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2007 after two and half years of additional training.
Dr. Tang practiced in several dental clinics after graduating from Columbia University. With many years of experience in dentistry, she gained diagnostic and treatment skills in most aspects of dentistry. Dr. Tang has more than three years of experience in pediatric dental clinics. She understands why there is dental fear and knows how to help you to cope with it. Dr. Tang loves to treat dental patients and wish to provide them with the best possible care.
Dr. Tang believes that emphasis on preventative care and daily oral hygiene maintenance will lead to better oral health and a better life.
Dr. Tang is a member of American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, and Hartford Dental Society.
